Why do Mental Training?

  • How can I improve my confidence in sport?

  • How can athletes perform under pressure?

  • How do I manage nerves before competition?

  • How can I improve my focus in sport?

  • How can a mental performance coach help?

  • How can I help a young athlete with confidence?

  • How can athletes recover mentally after injury?

  • How do I develop mental toughness?

  • How can I stop dwelling on mistakes?

  • What is mental skills coaching?

  • How can I prepare mentally for competition?

  • How can teams improve cohesion and communication?

You work on physique and technique, why neglect your mind game?

Mental performance coaching can help sports players and athletes with managing pressure, developing self-belief, improving focus and concentration, and sustaining motivation in sport. It supports you to find flow and develop a competition mindset, establishing effective pre-performance routines, setting meaningful goals and maintaining a healthy mentality in your sport. Working on you mind can also help with coping with nerves, overcoming setbacks, handling mistakes, building confidence, improving consistency, regulating emotions and developing self-awareness. For teams, this includes strengthening team cohesion, communication and leadership, while also supporting athletes through dealing with injury, developing an injury recovery mindset, returning to sport and continuing to flourish.

MSc Sport Psychology

This year I graduated with my MSc in Sport Psychology at University of East London (grade available Nov 2026). This excellent masters degree has given me strong theoretical frameworks and practical 1-1 applied hours helping young and adult athletes with their mental game.

Coaching Women and Girls (LTA)

Understanding the barriers and challenges girls and women face in sport throughout their lifetimes has enabled me to coach women and girls more effectively.

As someone who has run international companies and played junior sport to national level, I understand the specific kinds of pressure that those who compete encounter.
Wanting to better understand my own mentality and mindset, I undertook years of Jungian based therapy, read all those books and completed a Masters in sport psychology. This gave me the profound gift of a framework for understanding my worst impulses, forgiving myself (a bit), reseting and leaning into my best ones.

It gave me a clear path to improve my mentality, which in turn, without wishing to sound dramatic, improved my life.
I would like to do the same for you.
